A transfer-free flexible vertical light emitting diode according to the present invention includes an LED element layer 200; a first patternable polymer layer accommodating the LED element layer 200 therein; a first metal line connected to one side of the LED device layer 200 through first contact regions exposed to the first patternable polymer layer; a second patternable polymer layer disposed in contact with the LED element layer 200 and the first patternable polymer layer; and a second metal line connected to the other side of the LED device layer 200 through second contact regions exposed on the second patternable polymer layer, and formed on the flexible substrate.
